THE PHOTO BOOK IS OUT!!!!!

I’ve been living in the Central African region for over six years now. I’ve seen pretty much everything from amazing landscapes, beautiful people, malnourished children, poverty, armed conflict, extremely talented artists, breathtaking innovation, very impressive fashion shows, creativity awards.

However, the visuals that come from the African continent in general are only telling a one-sided story, depicting a whole continent mostly as a pity show that “needs help”. Hard to find are the images of modern, creative, dynamic, empowered Africa. Best of cases we can find photos of safaris, or traditional dances, folklore. But where is modern Africa?

With the launch of my photo book I want to contribute towards changing that narrative. Exhibitions are also planned.
