What happens when we change what we choose to put into focus? The photo book Thriving Africa was created to challenge the dominant visual narrative of the African continent by turning the lens toward creativity, entrepreneurship, innovation and possibility.

Seeing the Story Beyond the Assignment
What began as an assignment to document schools became something much bigger. Listening to children affected by conflict revealed another story: schools were not only educating children, they were planting peace. Turning Images into an Experience
Photography can live far beyond the frame. Beauty in Motion transformed a body of visual work into a public exhibition, creating a space where images could be experienced collectively and where storytelling became encounter, conversation and connection.

Since its creation, the Phone Photography Masterclass has trained more than 2,200 people across UN agencies and international organizations to see differently and communicate more effectively through the images they create every day.
More than a photography training, the Masterclass is about learning to see, frame and capture the human stories behind the work, using the most accessible camera we have: YOUR PHONE!!
From Cameroon, Senegal, Gabon, Niger to Haiti, Mexico, the USA and across the Middle East, participants learn how to move beyond documentation and create images that make people stop, look and connect.

Shaping Cameroon’s fashion narrative
For the past nine years, I have been the official photographer of the fashion incubator: Centre des Createurs du Mode au Cameroun (CMCC). I’ve been visually telling the story of Yaoundé’s Fashion Week: from models and castings to backstage production, craftsmanship and the creative energy that brings each collection to life.
