The goal and focus of my work is to use the power of the image and its story to create a connection between a cause, project or program, and its audience. By evoking emotions and empathy, the viewer feels connected to a story, and is willing to engage. Personal stories are the best, as the story of a fellow human is what we most relate to. The deeper the emotion, the stronger the engagement.
I am based in Yaounde, Cameroon and currently collaborating with UNESCO, WFP, UNDP, UNOPS and GIZ, as well as non-profits, small and large businesses, independent artists and magazines all over the world. I mostly work in the Central African region but also extensively travel abroad.
I hold a MA in Social Design from the Maryland Institute of Art (MICA), a Diploma in professional photography from The Washington School of Photography (WSP) and a MA in Communication from the University of Bonn/Germany.
No assignment is too small or too big.
Can't wait to hear from you!
